The Polo Tavern
The award-winning Polo Tavern is without a doubt Aiken's most popular watering hole. On Mondays during football season, come in for Monday Night Football and cheer on your favorite team. On Tuesdays, we have a darts tournament and "2 for 1" Cocktails on well drinks. Every Wednesday, we have Aiken's most popular Karaoke night hosted by DJ Tom Mitchell. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, we have popular local live bands, so come and join the fun and remember that at the Polo Tavern we NEVER have a cover charge. The Polo Tavern was awarded "Best Place for Live Music" in the Aiken Standard's Best of the Best for 2008 and 2009. In 2007, Augusta Magazine named the Polo Tavern as the "Hottest Spot During Polo Season."
In 2006, we proudly opened the Tiki Tavern, an outdoor patio bar. Come and savour the outdoor "Margaritaville" atmosphere while sipping on your favorite cocktail. The Tiki Tavern was awarded "Best New Bar" in Aiken in 2006, 2009 and 2010 by readers of Augusta Magazine.
Both of our on site bars are open 7 days a week. The Polo Tavern is open Monday-Saturday at 3:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. and at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays until 2:00 a.m. The Tiki Tavern opens at 5:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. daily, weather permitting. The Polo Tavern is a non-smoking environment; however smoking is allowed on the back deck of the Tiki Tavern. The taverns also serve food from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday and 5:00p.m. to 11:30p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
